This plunger style pressure washer pump, the 5CP5120 from CAT Pumps is one of the more commonly used units on pressure washers today that require a strong flow and pressure rating. Its 5 gallon per minute or 19 liters per minute flow rate make it one of the fastest pumps used in today’s cleaning industry. The 5CP5120 has a pressure rating from 100 to a maximum of 3000 PSI or 7 to 120 BAR. This pump has one of the fastest RPM in the industry with a top speed of 1415. With all this power, it’s amazing that the pump itself only weights in at a slim 19.9 pounds or 9 kilograms. It just goes to show you that powerful doesn’t always have to mean huge and heavy. It connects to your pressure washer via a 0.787” or 20 mm shaft diameter. The stroke and bore on this 5CP512 measure 0.709” (18 mm).
